About the role

We are looking for a Technical Maintainer to improve the reliability of the Bell Bay Aluminium equipment through defect elimination project work, reliability improvement and coaching and maintenance improvement support to the maintenance team.

This is a great opportunity for a strong Instrumentation and Control technician who will provide critical support to the maintenance team. You will be providing technical coaching and support where needed as well as participating in component failure analysis and investigation.

Reporting to the Specialist Reliability Engineer and working a Monday to Friday day shift roster, you will be:

Managing Asset Defect Elimination projects to improve equipment reliability;
Coaching the Maintainers during PM execution whilst providing complex breakdown resolution;
Working on RCA completion for large/impactful breakdowns;
Analysing and improving common delay accounting and SAP data;
Demonstrating improvements on maintenance tactics;
Able to display a valuable knowledge of fixed and mobile plant equipment as well as operational practices to enable a strong contribution towards the maintenance planning and execution process as well as long term asset strategies.

What you’ll bring

A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
Must have an Electricians License
5+ years Maintainer experience
PLC (Program Logic Control) experience with the ability to edit control systems would be beneficial but not essential
Experience with industrial control systems and componentry
Experience with Cranes would be beneficial but not essential
