Programmed are excited to be partnering with Tasmanian Alkaloids for the recruitment of a Quality Control Analyst for their Westbury site.

What we're looking for...

You have a well-developed understanding of quality systems in a laboratory environment. You are a great planner but flexible and adaptable to changing conditions. You are well known for your great relationship and communication skills, sound judgement and you are organised, motivated, and detail oriented.

You will be required to:

  • Ensure raw materials, in-process and finished product sample testing is conducted in accordance with the company's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment including relevant calibrations and assisting in development activities as required.
  • Maintain a high standard in the QC Laboratory in accordance with cGMP.
  • Assist in internal/external audits as required.

The successful candidate should have:

  • Tertiary qualified in Chemistry or related discipline.
  • Prior experience working in a GMP laboratory environment within pharmaceutical or related industries.
  • UPLC/HPLC experience and well-developed laboratory and instrumental skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with a proven ability to meet goals, targets and deadlines.
  • Be highly organised.
  • The ability to work shifts across both day and night shift, as required.
  • A good work ethic, excellent interpersonal skills and a good team player is a must!
  • Demonstrable working knowledge of regulatory requirements governing therapeutic and non-therapeutic products.
